Intro-
I am proud to publish March's
edition of this blog's Webzine.
In last month's edition, I
explained that this would be
a "blog carnival" of sorts,
featuring all the best content
from the previous month.

Two days left...

The Humble Libertarian Subscription Contest.

The Cartoon Corner
This is a round up of last
month's political cartoons:
-Obama's "Debt Star" made me
laugh (until it made me cry).
-Greg uses a political cartoon
to illustrate a post I wrote.
-Hat tip to Moonbattery.com
for this short South Park clip
showing how the Fed really
makes financial decisions:

-If President Obama Twittered
-And I got a real kick out of this.

Blog of the Month

This month there are two "Blogs
of the Month." The reason is
that they have both been on my
radar consistently all month
and they occupy a similar niche
in the blogosphere: the subject
of the compatibility between
Libertarian politics and the
Christian worldview. March's
featured blogs are Libertarian
Christians
and The Holy Cause.

Both blogs are extremely well
put together from a purely
aesthetic standpoint- with very
simple, functional, and unique
blog layouts. And the wrapping
does justice to what's inside.
For the Christian libertarian,
Norman's Libertarian Christians
explores the philosophy of
liberty in great theological
depth, for example "Caesar &
God in Context
." Greg's blog "The
Holy Cause
" is a biting polemic
against the abuses of the state.
(e.g. The Love of Money & Power)
Both blogs are critically important
at a time when Christians need to
learn and know that it is okay
to also be a libertarian (that
in fact it may make more sense to
be a libertarian Christian).

Timothy Geithner on SNL

SNL's Seth on Michael Phelps

Obama's Presidency
Bureaucrash's Pete Eyre posted
a video
by the Competitive
Enterprise institute contrasting
Obama's tough language on
earmarks with the reality of the
laws that he supports and signs.
Incidentally, Rep. Ron Paul
of Texas makes a convincing case
that earmarks are a good thing

and keep government spending
more directly accountable.

Book of the Month

Purchase your own paperback copy
of Atlas Shrugged from the Amazon
link above, and you will also help
support the Humble Libertarian's
mission of spreading liberty.

On This April Fool's Day:

A most epic prank.

Obama's Katrina?
The New York Times asks
whether the current economic
crisis is Obama's Katrina.
Bob Parks argues that Kentucky's
snowstorm this January was
Obama's Katrina. He might
be right. So... Barack Obama
doesn't care about white people?

Tea Bag Washington April 1st

Just a reminder to send in your
teabags
to Washington today.
If you don't have the time or
stamps, visit the link above and
you can still send Washington
some digital tea bags! Over at
the Hawaiian Libertarian, they're
suggesting
that the "Tea" in "Tea
Party" should stand for "TAXED
ENOUGH ALREADY!" I agree!

The Beauty of Capitalism

Photobucket
This section highlights the
cool things that hard-working,
creative people can do when
given the opportunity through
free markets, like this list
of super cool, futuristic gadgets,
these 11 sites that let you
create cartoon characters of
yourself, these 13 computer
keyboards
you've likely never
seen before, and last month's
arrival of the world's cheapest
car
! Though be on the lookout
for the hidden editorializing in
that article against the car. It
reminds me of the news media's
smear job of Rearden Metal in
Ayn Rand's classic novel.

Activism- Take Action:
Here's what you can do this month:

-Contact Comedy Central to try to
get Peter Schiff an interview on the
Daily Show.
-Start or promote a local Tea
Party Protest on April 15th and
July 4th.
-Subscribe to this blog. You
might even win a prize. (Hurry,
the deadline is the end of the
day tomorrow!)
