Libertarian Halloween Costume: Banksy's Flower Chucker

I may have found my Halloween costume for 2009- with an awesome libertarian twist.

It's to dress up as the "masked anarchist" throwing a bouquet of flowers instead of a bomb or Molotov cocktail in a classic work by the English graffiti artist, Banksy.

The work is entitled "The Flower Chucker."

It is visually powerful and philosophically poignant because it seems to espouse peace, love, and non-violent means to the ends of political revolution.

I would love to be that masked anarchist throwing a bouquet of flowers for Halloween because I would love to be that masked anarchist throwing a bouquet of flowers.

If my life's work could be summarized in that picture, I would die a happy man.

Hmm, seeing the picture got me thinking about the physics of throwing flowers. Maybe ten feet at best (as depicted). Any thoughts on how to throw the flowers further without property damage (except for the 'pollution' of the flowers and wrap themselves)

Good point! If the flowers are all just wrapped nicely together in a paper or plastic covering, you are correct that they will fly apart in the air and wind resistance will shorten their range.

If they were somewhat tightly tied or rubber-banded together however, I think they could fly much farther than ten feet because they would be somewhat projectile-like, especially if I threw them stem first like a spear.

Maybe to be consistent I should just nicely hand them to someone though.

My friend introduced me to Banksy, and for that I'm eternally grateful. It's possible to become reliable I should just perfectly hands those to somebody even though.
