Kill Your TV
The following is a fantastic lecture on the "cognitive surplus" most citizens of first world nations enjoy today as a result of our super-abundance of free time (thanks to the explosive prosperity of the Industrial Revolution).
The thesis is that we have panicked for nearly a century now with all that free time and spent it downing gin and watching countless hours of television. Just imagine the possibilities if our "cognitive surplus" were harnessed and used for the sake of our enlightenment and liberty!
Enjoy! (and Hat Tip: Bonnie Kristian, YAL)

Over the last 5 years, the US dollar has lost nearly 50% of its value relative to the other major currencies, as the value of the U.S. Dollar declined, gold and silver prices have increased.
