The New Hampshire legislature has passed medical marijuana bills before but they've been vetoed by a Democratic governor who also says he will veto this bill.
The New Hampshire Senate voted Wednesday to approve a medical marijuana bill, Senate Bill 409, in a 13-11 vote. The bill now moves to the House....A similar bill passed the House by a margin of more than two-to-one last year, but died in the Senate. Two years earlier, both chambers passed a medical marijuana bill, only to see it vetoed by Gov. John Lynch (D). Gov. Lynch has already threatened to veto this legislation, too.
