WPA Releases GOP Presidential Numbers in Texas

New poll shows Santorum ahead in Texas - Rick Santorum 35%, Mitt Romney 27%, Newt Gingrich 20%, Ron Paul 8%. In 2008 Ron Paul got 5% in his home state of Texas. Texas is more like Mississippi, Alabama and other anti-liberty southern states that have strong neocon and theocon Republicans. While Texas does have some incredibly strong liberty activists, they are a minority.
Respondents were contacted by phone via a live telephone operator interview March 11th – 13th 2012. The study has a sample size of 750 likely Republican primary voters in Texas with a margin of error of ±3.6%. The question was asked, “If the Republican primary election for United States President were held today, for whom would you vote if the candidates were RANDOMIZE Rick Santorum, Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul ?”
