US Supreme Court Upholds Strip Searches for Parking Tickets

I sincerely doubt that the same Supreme Court that just upheld the right of the police to strip search everybody, even for minor offenses like parking tickets, will be inclined to declare Obamacare unconstitutional. Humiliation and degradation of human beings is what government is all about and the Supreme Court has a very long history of upholding state powers, no matter how draconian.
Motorists can be strip searched over false allegations of unpaid parking tickets, the US Supreme Court ruled yesterday. A narrow 5 to 4 majority of justices held that it is more important for prison facilities to maintain security than to allow individuals charged with the most minor of infractions to avoid humiliation.
